RAITH is the global market and technology leader for maskless nanofabrication. With Experience Centers in Dortmund, Troy, and Shanghai, the brand welcomes a global audience – customers from industry and science, partners, investors, and decision-makers. This requires a consistent experience – with flexible dramaturgy, a common design language, and a brand experience that convinces in every situation.

Based on a clear brand strategy and global expansion – with Experience Centers in Troy, NY, and Shanghai – RAITH commissioned Elevate Partners to develop the customer experience in the space. The starting point was a systematic analysis of the customer journey for both core target groups: industrial decision-makers and academic researchers. This led to the zoning, requirements profile, and conceptual foundation for Dortmund – and the global rollout.

The starting point is the sales experience – multi-day visits where every moment counts. The cockpit is the control center: from here, customers control and experience the entire system portfolio, with a direct view into the cleanroom. The aesthetic is deliberately chosen: focused, technological, precise. The cleanroom and lounge form the contrast – deep tech and premium hospitality in close proximity, both on the same level. From this concept, a comprehensive design system for the brand in space was derived: zoning, materials, furniture, lighting, texture, graphics. The foundation for a consistent global rollout.

The RAITH Experience Centers reflect the brand's claim to leadership in all dimensions – technical, architectural, and atmospheric. Customers from industry and science experience RAITH directly through the architecture and the direct encounter with the technology. 500 sq m in Dortmund. The developed design system is applied at the locations in Troy and Shanghai. Realized with Labor Weltenbau (architecture) and Ganter Interior (shopfitting).

Cockpit

Control center of the Experience Center. From here, customers control and experience the entire system portfolio – with a direct view into the cleanroom. The idea: maximum control and overview, concentrated at one point. Less showroom, more command center.

Brand Wall

A brand-typical architectural element made of modular ceramic tiles – adaptable to any spatial situation. The relief plays with micro and macro levels: from a distance a clear surface, upon closer inspection an unfolding pattern of ever finer details. A spatial translation of the scale games of nanotechnology.

Media Wall

Large-format LED screen with a modular content system featuring five categories: Welcome, Sectors, Products, Community, and Company. Content is displayed situationally and tailored to visitors, utilizing custom motion templates for each context. Includes templates for presentations and sales events.

Signage

Orientation and brand identity in one system. The signage concept consistently develops function and branding together – down to the last detail. Including its own pictographic language that runs through the center's visual identity.
